Had severe three foot long multiple scratches from side-swiping sharp rocks jutting from a stone wall. The two-step touch up process produced an outstanding result. The color match was perfect and it is impossible to tell that anything untoward ever happened.

Purchased this kit end of July 2021, did a small repair sealed everything back up and stored the kit. Today went to do some repairs, took out the kit and found both containers of paint dried out. This was in spite of the fact that I had only opened one of the containers previously. The 2 bottles of corrector fluid were both practelly empty even though, as, with the paint, only one bottle had been opened. It is obvious that the containers are not tight from the factory. THERE WAS A STRONG CHEMICAL SMELL WHEN I ORIGINALLY OPENED THE BOX. I figured the smell was from the factory and ignored it. IF YOU NEED TOUCH-UP PAINT GO TO YOUR DEALER AND GET A COLOR-MATCH PEN OR PAINT.

This kit worked so well on 20 years of parking lot scrapes, gravel road dings and a car wash tape incident, that a co-worker said she thought I got a new car when I pulled up. It still shows when you look straight at it in the light, but I’m not the dingy car in the lot anymore! I have a lot of paint left despite doing multiple coats as recommended so I might go for even more of the little scratches. It does work a bit better if you have smoother brushes than the kit, but if you smear it with a gloved hand and just do a ton of thin coats it’s pretty slick. I also used the superfine sandpaper that I saved from when I got a headlight restoration kit (I wanna emphasize how fine grit it was!) to smooth the peeling original paint as preparation, and then erased the brushstrokes with it after fully drying the touchup paint. Took a bit of time spread out over a few days but way cheaper than going to a shop!

Does this product match my silver Subaru Forester 2017? Yes yes it does. Should I have bought and will I buy a micro paint sprayer for this ? Yes yes I should have and yes I will. Very great stuff but the brushes don’t cut it- if you’re buying this product look at the interior part of the metal on your drivers / passenger door and you’ll see what color code your car is. Also... make sure you shake up the bottles if you have a metallic paint because the sparkles seem to really go ham it’s important to get a nice mix first before you apply anything. Good stuff you really just gotta take your time and not do a cheap job. If you’re spending $50 on some touch up paint you mine as well spend $5 on some blue tape and get some free newspapers or thin plastic tarp for like $10 and get yourself a $25-30 “mini paint sprayer” on Amazon, use a friends air compressor and boom you’re ready to go and you’re still like $150-300 under what a regular touch up job from a pro would be.

All the item you would need to fix a scratch or a chip are provided. Depending on the kit. Would have liked a little better instructions written but the Youtube video was good. And you should separate the brushes from the towel in there own pouch cause I grab the towel and the brushes went everywhere.

If your paint chip is really deep, like mine was (see photos) you will need to apply multiple coats to get the touch up paint to be above your car's paint. Then use provided utensils to polish off extra to level the chipped area with your car's paint and voila! I've never had this kind of success with other products. Remember, touch up paint needs to be on same level with your car's paint otherwise it will be an obvious repair.

The package comes with the colour of my car and other stuff. The colour is the same as the factory colour of my car. It also comes with an instruction manual that shows you to touch up the paint. It is very useful to fix small scratches in your car. Highly recommend!

Personal opinion: If you need a perfect result, don't buy this, go to a body shop, there is no perfect solution without sanding, filling, using computer matched paint and spaying for several layers. If you're looking for a solution to cover the small damage, this kit is very good, it provides you with everything you need to do it back home, include the cleaning solution, touching up paint and the paste for final buffering. I had no experience in doing touch-up paint, but still managed to achieved the result I'm satisfied with (with really LOW expectation). I didn't do sanding first, because I don't want to cause more damage to the paint, instead, I applied few layers (wait for 10 minutes between each), then use the paste in the kit to buffer it out. In the instruction, they did say if your car is very new, the color is likely mismatched (the paint is more likely made for aged paint), which is my case, you can definitely tell it's "too white" in certain angle, but it's barely visible from few feet away, and most importantly, it covers the metal and prevents the further rusting, I'm satisfied with the result.

For context I had about a 15cm long deep scratch that clearly showed the metal. In my experience, this product worked to my expectations based on the description of the product. Needless to say it does require a minimum amount of skill and patience. The colour out of the box is a 99% match. In my experience with this product it dried a slightly darker blue when applied too thick. This was easily removed using the solution included. Please see the before and after photos attached. I can no longer feel the scratch with my finger and it has been adequately repaired. Finally, I would recommend this product for the application stated above. However, if you have not done paint repairs before, limit your expectations. Thank you guys for the quick delivery and exceptional product.

I was very skeptical but the quality and presentation of the kit is very impressive. Also the paint went on smoothly and the finish is amazing, I recommend.

I like that it arrived 6 days early. The paint is extremely close to original paint on my car. I like the extra items that came in the box, but I would like the option to buy the touch paint alone. I will definitely buy again once this one runs out. As you can see in the pic I only used a small amount. A second drop might get rid of the small divot completely. I touched up several other scratches and nicks, but didn't take pictures.

I was feeling skeptical at first due to the mixed results described in the reviews. However, this worked exactly as described; the application was straightforward and fast, the color match was perfect (make sure to polish and wax afterwards), and I can hardly find the blemish after the touch up. The only difference is that the texture will not match perfectly and there will be a dent where the paint was chipped and refilled. I added before and after photos with a circle drawn around the chip
